After arriving 5 minutes early to my appointment I was made to wait 2 1/2 hours before being seen by Doctor Bucci.
I was told they were running behind that day and then told to have a seat and wait to be seen. The reception staff was extremely rude and disrepectful. When my examination finally began, I was taken through the initial procedures by a very helpful and wonderful group of women. When it came to time see the Doctor instead of apologizing for the wait (which would have taken 30 seconds at most) he just began his pitch. He told me how great lasik is and how I was a great canidate. He then gave me a price ($5,000), looked at my eyes quickly and told me to set up a surgery with scheduling when his assistant was done. He quickly left the room, after only being with me for a total of 2 minutes, but not before trying to discredit other practices that perform lasik. After the evaluation I did not feel comfortable with his office and simply left.
I have now scheduled my Lasik surgery with Doctor Vale at Acuity Vision in Scranton.
