(Added July 26/10) Re: Lasik MD on King Street West. I had the PRK proceedure in June 2010. I achieved the results I desired and have 20/20 vision without glasses or contacts. However, I do not recommend this clinic because the patient care is not up to par. There are discrepancies in their documentation, their staff are not trained properly to educate patients and they do not fully articulate what to expect during the recovery process. In my opinion, they are careless and unprofessional.

(Added July 15/10) The LasikMD Mississauga office was more interested in moving me through the process / line as if I was in a Grocery store not getting a life changing surgery.

How can you be expected to put your credit card down for $4,000 without getting a chance to ask the Surgeon a question or two. The front line touch-point staff was unfriendly, cold, and seemed to be working to a quota of getting people thru. The 2nd time they asked me for my credit card without getting to speak to a certified expert - I walked out. They told me I couldn't walk out and I told them to watch me.....

I would caution anyone who cares about their eyes to do business with this company - until they figure out that the patient / customer is more important than getting 'x' amount of patients through in a day....
